FILM CAMP

The Prodigy Camp film program empowers young filmmakers to excel both personally and professionally, raising the bar for artistic and personal influence. Committed to mentorship, collaboration, and helping each artist find their unique voice, the camp fosters a tight-knit community where storytelling transforms participants into lifelong collaborators and friends.

During this week-long intensive, students will learn from industry-leading professionals through classes on story structure, character development, directing, acting, and film festival strategy. Each student will direct their own short film with a full crew, equipment, and a mentoring DP, while also gaining hands-on experience in various crew roles. To support their projects, participants will have one-on-one sessions with mentors, DPs, and script developers, plus collaborative critiques and access to a full editing team. Beyond filmmaking, students can screen past work, perform in talent shows, and share stories around the campfire.

Intimidated by the word “Prodigy”? Don’t be.

While some of our students have worked on major Hollywood pictures, we very often accept teens who have never picked up a camera or microphone.

What we care about is authenticity and a drive to be a storyteller. You have nothing to lose, so take the first step today.
